Monthly SEO
Welcome To Monthly Search Engine Optimization
Google’s Panda updates are continuing on almost a daily basis right now. At least it may feel that way to you and I. Every one of these updates are making subtle to not so subtle changes on the way Google and the other search engines rank your site. And one of those updates was Panda 2.5.2 algorithm change on 14 Oct 2011.
As you know many of these changes have driven top ranking sites, as well as blog/sites you and I own, down, down and even further down in the search engines. Now over the last 3 months Google’s algorithm has become very focused on off site optimization. If you don’t know what this means, let me try to give you a really simple explanation.
Google wants to see high ranking, closely related, authority sites referring back to your site or better known as backlinks. For instance you have a blog/site focused on search engine optimization and you provide unique and useful information on how to optimize other folks blog/site. And when these other sites are directly or closely related to seo information, these authority site passes their authority on to your blog/site.
Major Tip: Once Google sees you’re blog/site is being linked to by these authority sites they want to make sure your not a 30 day wonder. In other words Big G and the other search engines, want to see your blog/site being referred to month in and month out.
This is why Google has become almost paranoid about your blog/site being updated with fresh new content as often as you can do it. And the same paranoia applies to other authority blog/sites referring back to your site. You must be consistent with your own updates and new links back to your site.
You now know the reason why I’m offering this monthly service. To help you beat Google’s paranoia. I know I’m being a bit of a “drama king” when I use the term Google paranoia, but hopefully you will forgive me for being so dramatic.
